William L. and Carla Dietrich Huffman ’69 live in Hershey, PA. An optometrist, William traveled to Diriamba, Nicaragua in November 2000 for a humanitarian mission with World Blindness Outreach. In December 2000, he was presented the U.S. Air Force Meritorious Service Medal on the occasion of his retirement from the Maryland Air National Guard. Carla, an elementary school gifted teacher with the Northern Lebanon School District, is pursuing her master’s degree in education.
John W. Pettibone, curator and director of the Hammond Castle Museum, Gloucester, MA, is coauthor of The Hammond Castle Story and Ghost Stories at Hammond Castle. He is currently working on the biography of American inventor, John Hays Hammond Jr.
