Janet Hart Heinicke has retired as a professor and head of the art department at Simpson College, Indianola, IA. She is an adjunct faculty member at Simpson, superintendent for the fine arts division of the Iowa State Fair, and serves on the Global Mission Committee for the Southeastern Iowa Synod of the E.L.C.A.

Wilma Weber Conley, Denton, TX, retired in January 2001 as an examiner with the federal government.

D. Randall Fisher, London, England, became a Freeman of the City of London in August 1999. He was the second American to do so.

William M. and Jean Matsumoto Baird live in Wooster, OH. William, who taught economics at Wittenberg, is a professor emeritus at The College of Wooster. Jean, who recently retired as a director of administration with the City of Wooster, is a member of the steering committee for Stage Partners, a not-for-profit corporation founded in 1994 and committed to the promotion of the performing arts. Jean also serves on the board of directors for the Wayne Center for the Arts and is a member of the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce, and Friends and Neighbors of Every Woman’s House.

Kenneth T. Michnay, a former pastor of 25 years at the Dr. Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, Muskegon, MI, has accepted a call from the Division for Global Mission of the E.L.C.A. to serve in the general bishop’s office and at the seminary in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Donald S. Worth, a pastor at St. John Lutheran Church, Pittsburgh, PA, enjoys traveling. He lives in Monroeville, PA.
