University increases area scholarship amounts
Wittenberg recently made the Clark County and Miami Valley Scholarship program more attractive to the Class of 2005 by raising the scholarship from $5,000 per year to $7,500 annually.
This new scholarship will reduce the cost of tuition by $30,000 for an undergraduate degree at Wittenberg. Currently, annual tuition at Wittenberg is $22,680.
This fall, 42 students were awarded the Clark County Scholarship and are enrolled this semester. Neighboring counties are also well represented with a total of 58 Miami Valley Scholarship recipients, including 25 students from Montgomery, 14 students from Champaign, 10 students from Greene, five students from Madison and four students from Miami.
“We hope this increase in the scholarship will enable more area students to consider the educational opportunities available at Wittenberg,” said Ken Benne, dean of admission.
“We would like to continue the growth in the number of local students on campus in the coming years.”
