Football Head Coach Joe Fincham claimed Coach of the Year honors for a fourth straight season.

Fincham, a 1988 graduate of Ohio University, became the first coach in school or conference history to earn Coach of the Year four straight times.

The winningest active college football coach in America (based on winning percentage), Fincham has a career record of 63-7, including this year’s 11-2 mark.

Fincham’s overall record includes a phenomenal 57-3 in regular season games, 45-2 in the North Coast Athletic Conference and 6-4 in the NCAA Division III playoffs.

The Tigers will be loaded again in 2002, as Fincham expects to lead 18 returning starters onto the gridiron.
