James C. Evans, Richmond, VA, has been named a director with Capital One Financial. James T. Oris is a professor of zoology at Miami University, Oxford, OH. He was elected to a three-year term on the board of directors of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, a global non-profit organization. George M. Ramsay, Waukegan, IL, is a program manager for the support of hospital products in the U.S. and International Affiliates of Abbott Laboratories. George holds three U.S. patents for new pharmaceutical container systems and was the winner of the Abbott Presidents’ Award and Environmental Award in 2001 for innovation in pharmaceutical packaging.
