Marcie McClintic ’02 hosted more than 25 Wittenberg students and alumni for a “Wild and Wonderful West Virginia White Water Weekend” near her home in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va. Most of the attendees were active and alumni members of her sorority Gamma Phi Beta.

Alumni World Young alumna initiates adventurous event in West Virginia
In addition to sharing Wittenberg stories and catching up with each other, the participants went whitewater rafting on the world-famous New River. The response to the event, which attracted alumnae from across the Midwest and East Coast, including Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, W. Va. and Washington, D.C., was so overwhelming that McClintic hopes to make it an annual tradition.
