Class Reunion June 13-15, 2003
Alfred R. Buehner has retired from his position as assistant to the bishop
with the Southern Ohio Synod, E.L.C.A., and moved to Navarre, FL.
Milton S. Hunt was recently featured in the Spring 2002 issue of Voices
of Congregational Life as the founder of the Bethlehem Inn, a rotating
church homeless shelter program in Bend, OR.

Lea Flanders Embree, West Kingston, RI, the former president and owner
of Embree Design Management, IL, has retired from her career managing
the design, production and installation of educational museum exhibits.
She is a ceramic artist and has been represented in galleries in Chicago,
New York, Philadelphia and in the Smithsonian. A retired volunteer
with Hospice in Illinois, she volunteers with the Literacy Volunteers
of America, RI.

Jerry L. and Sue Browder Maxson ’59 live in New Bremen, OH. After
45 years in education, Jerry has retired as a teacher, basketball coach
and bus driver from Lehman Catholic High School.

H. Edward Hart, Huntsville, OH, is CEO of Hart Industries, Middletown,

Donna Woods Parks, South Charleston, OH, a retired teacher, is the sole
proprietor of Miss Tiggly’s Educational Supplies, Springfield,
OH. She has been a church organist for 50 years.

Charlene Jennings Morford, Cleveland, OH, is a retired kindergarten teacher.
President Alumnae of Kappa Delta, she is involved in the Lakewood Historical
Society and Pilgrim Church UCC.
Edward T. Winkler, Howard, OH, and his wife, Ruth, celebrated their
50th wedding anniversary, Aug. 23, 2002. Ed completed his goal of running
24,887.6 miles, a distance equaling the circumference of the earth, in
November 2002.

Walter B. Stitt, South Bend, IN, published “Broken Date Leads
to Altar,” a tribute to his relationship with his wife, in the “Anniversaries:
Change of Plans” section of the May 26, 2002 Sunday Michigan Edition
of the South Bend Tribune.

to the Anglican Episcopal Church of Stockholm, Sweden, Nov. 30, 2002.
Barbara E. Irvine, a classical pianist and theatre music director who
heads The Other Side of Broadway, was the pianist and music director
for the company’s Songs of the Poets, an art song cabaret with
poets’ texts set to music by theatrical composers.
Terry W. McDaniel, Volcano, CA, is a physicist in the research division
of Seagate Technology, Fremont, CA.
