Information on Alumni Association activities and events regularly appear in each edition of the magazine prior to the Class Notes.

As an alumna or alumnus of Wittenberg University, you are automatically a member of the Alumni Association, which is governed by the Alumni Board.

Approximately 30 people serve on the board, which has been in existence for 12 years and which has dedicated countless hours to serve the needs and interests of alumni around the country.

Since its founding, the Alumni Board has:

• Advocated for the evolution of Wittenberg Today to the current
  Wittenberg Magazine;
• Helped to establish the Bayley Alumni House on campus;
• Established Wittenberg signage along Interstate 70 heading east into Springfield;
• Assisted in the production of an alumni guide; and
• Welcomed new students to Wittenberg and gave each member a Tiger laundry bag.

The board also:

• Designates honorary alumni status;
• Selects candidates and presents alumni awards during the university’s annual Alumni Weekend and Homecoming festivities;
• Presents the prestigious Alumni Association Award for Distinguished Teaching during Wittenberg’s annual Honors Convocation;
• Continues to improve alumni presence on campus and in the undergraduate experience; and
• Continues to help establish regional Alumni Clubs throughout the country.
