Andy Crawford and his wife Diane announce the birth of their son Rollin, Jan. 8, 2003. Andy is the director of business operations and marketing services for Blue Diesel in Westerville, Ohio, where they reside.
Kevin Chiu and Lynn M. Elsass Chiu are proud to announce the birth of Katelyn Grace on Aug. 4, 2002. Kevin is a partner in the Elsass Financial Group in Canfield, Ohio, and Lynn is an elementary special education teacher in Sebring, Ohio.
Holly Helderman Leach, husband Alan D. Leach and big sister Caitlin welcomed twins Normandy Claire and Tanner Elijah, Nov. 16, 2001. Alan is an SAS programmer with Qualex Consulting of Martinsville, Va., and Holly has left teaching to serve as a full-time mother. They live in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Guyle Lind Glenn currently works as an elementary school guidance counselor/administrator. She lives with her husband Dale who is an engineer.
Joann Betz Schobeloch and her husband Craig are proud to announce the birth of their son Justin Craig, Feb. 25, 2002. Joann is a Spanish teacher at Teays Valley High School in Ashville, Ohio.
Todd Sweda was recently appointed assistant head of school at Gilmour Academy, a K-12 independent Catholic school in Gates Mills, Ohio.

Michael Dulin joined other Wittenberg ATO alumni in June to discuss the Anna Johnson Fund. Anna, the ATO house cook for more than 20 years, has experienced recent health issues and related financial difficulties. In response to the situation, several ATO alumni have established the Anna Johnson Fund as a way to provide financial assistance to their former cook.
Michael Lawrence is currently at the U.S. Naval Academy, serving as an assistant professor n the department of leadership, ethics and law.
Beth Eksten Looney, husband Mark and their two children recently moved to Wilmington, N.C. and also relocated their company’s headquarters there.
Kathy Nanista Matteus has moved to Delray Beach, Fla. She is currently an analyst for GE Capital.

Kristin Doty married Marc G. Durnin, April 27, 2002. Kristin is now managing Starbucks while her husband attends film school in Denver, Colo.
Amal Hussein is currently president of the Mountain Lakes Education Association and is a fifth-grade math teacher and varsity lacrosse coach. She resides in Mountain Lakes, N.J.
Marjorie Robinson Pinto-Leite and her husband Francisco have three children and live in Stamford, Conn.
Katherine Swasko O’Brien and her husband James O’Brien, Jr. have been blessed with two more children, James Gerald born Oct. 10, 2001 and Mabel Jane born May 28, 2003. They reside in Weston, Fla.
Jennifer Weiss graduated in May 2003 from Kent State University with an M.A. in teaching. She now teaches at the Perkiomen School in Pennsburg, Pa. She also coaches basketball and lacrosse.
David Wiley is the program coordinator for Northern Europe with the University of Kansas Office of Study Abroad. He is also the head coach of the University of Kansas women’s lacrosse team.

Kristina Ackley married Steve Baumler, Oct. 19, 2002. Kristina manages internal communication for VeriSign, Inc. The couple resides in Herndon, Va.
Kristin Baker married Thomas Gorrie in 2003. Kristin is employed as a sales account manager with Marchon Inc. She and her husband reside in Derry, N.H.
Susan Frank Dellicker and her husband proudly announce the birth of their two sons, Willard, July 4, 2000, and Jacob, Jan. 1, 2002. Susan is a domestic engineer with W&J Industries. She lives in Kutztown, Pa.
Juliet Dupuy Gardner and her husband Stephen announce the birth of their son, David, Oct. 12, 2002. They currently reside in Kensington, Md.
Rob Fetters is in his fourth year at Mt. Vernon High School, teaching U.S. history and government. Last summer he was selected as a National Endowment for Humanities fellow. He and his family live in Fredericktown, Ohio.
Tim Fitzpatrick married Trudy Musarra, May 11, 2002. Tim is an insurance broker and vice president with Todd Associates, Inc. The couple resides in Cleveland, Ohio.
Tenley Talmage Granito and her husband Paul ’90 announce the birth of Margaret Rose, April 17, 2002. They reside in Oakville, Ontario.
Kenneth Hafenstein was certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in the area of workers’ compensation in April 2003. This certification makes him one of a small group of attorneys in Ohio to have earned this distinction. He resides in Columbus, Ohio.
Patrick Knox and his wife Kathleen Gilliam Knox ’92 announce the birth of their third child, Quinn, May 19, 2002. They currently reside in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
Kathleen White Koehrsen has completed graduate studies with the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Horticulture. She continues to work with KPMG LLP as a personal property appraiser, and she hopes to expand on her graduate studies and master gardener designations. Husband Laurence Koehrsen has joined the Washington, D.C.-based Forma Design Architects Inc. as a partner.

Steve Abbott recently signed a three-year contract with CED, the top commercial agency in Hollywood, Calif. Steve has appeared in commercials for Hellmann’s, Best Foods and T.G.I.F’s this year. He also appears in the movie GACY, which is now available at Blockbuster Video.
Christopher Allen and wife Katherine Waltzinger Allen ’91 live in Fishers, Ind., with their two sons. Chris is a hospital sales consultant for Indiana with Welch Allyn Inc. Katherine is taking a sabbatical from her kindergarten teaching position in Indianapolis to raise their children.
Margaret Morrell Allgeier is a fourth-grade teacher at White Heath School in White Heath, Ill. Husband Patrick ’93 is the offensive coordinator for football and the head golf coach at Millikin University. They reside with their two children in Decatur, Ill.
Jennifer Krotine Beeman has been promoted to account executive for Dix & Eaton Inc. investor relations group. She lives with her husband Chris ’92 and daughter in University Heights, Ohio.
Arthur Fiveash and wife Hillary Mount Fiveash ’92 have two sons, Charles Ethan, born May 15, 2000, and Samuel Harrison, born April 5, 2002. They reside in Reno, Nev.
Heather Phelps has been hired as human resources manager at RPA, a retail experience agency. She resides in Columbus, Ohio.
Maudy Pryor Paden just accepted a new part-time position as an art teacher at Firelands Montessori Academy in Huron, Ohio. Michele Wentz Vargo and her husband John proudly announce the birth of their son John Erik, March 3, 2003.

Niklas Karlberg and wife Marianne Josefsson Kalberg ’95 have moved back to Sweden where Niklas has taken on a position as director of business development at a small pharmaceutical research and development company. They welcomed their son Simon in July 2001.

Heather Owen Brame and husband Greg ’94 announce the birth of their son, Colin, Oct. 29, 2002.

William Curtis Busby married Katherine Ann Kovalski, June 15, 2002. William is the human resource manager for Athersys, a biotechnology company in Cleveland. The couple resides in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Jonathan Leigh Faber was featured on the cover of the Indianapolis Business Journal for its story titled “Forty Under 40” in February 2003. Faber, guitarist and attorney, is president of CMG Worldwide Inc., the world’s largest celebrity licensing company. He and his wife Meg McNeely Faber ’94 live in Indianapolis, Ind.
Kristen Ferry married Ty Hughes, June 23, 2001. Kristen is an aquatic biologist for the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries. The couple resides in Salem, Mass.
Cheryl Doub Hiser and husband David Hiser ’93 are proud to announce the births of their two children, Ashley Kay, March 22, 2000, and David A., March 7, 2002. They reside in Carey, N.C.
Alison Jenkins married Sean Buchanan, July 5, 2003, in Ontario, Canada. They currently reside in Charlotte, N.C. Alison is a psychology instructor at Cleveland Community College.

Luke Ragan is the primary care sports medicine doctor at Toledo Orthopaedic Surgeons Clinic. He and his wife Rachelle Moore Ragan ’94 have two children, Cole, born Dec. 24, 1999, and Kelsey, born April 15, 2003.

Nikki LaSota-Bullock was recently inducted into the Beavercreek High School Athletic Hall of Fame for her accomplishments as a high school softball pitcher. A softball player while a student, she tied the Wittenberg season record for wins as a pitcher and led the team in earned run average (2.2) in 1994.
Y. Laketa Cole has been sworn in as a new Cincinnati City Council member to complete the term of a member who resigned. Laketa is currently attending the University of Cincinnati, where she is working toward a master’s degree in public administration.
Gretchen Brown Deaton and her husband Daniel are proud to announce the birth of their son Jack Adam, April 1, 2002. Gretchen is a fifth-grade teacher for the Wake County Public School System. She and her family reside in Apex, N.C.
Rebecca Deehr earned a master’s degree in environmental science in 2001 and is currently working on a Ph.D. in coastal resources management at East Carolina University.
Tyler Dunlap and his wife Leanne Kahl Dunlap ’96 are proud to announce the birth of Quinn William, June 27, 2003. They reside in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Courtney Denning-Johnson married Dane Michael Lynch, May 3, 2003. During their honeymoon, they were granted a personal audience with Pope John Paul II in Rome. Courtney received her Ph.D. in reproductive epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md. She was also honored by the faculty at graduation for having the most outstanding doctoral dissertation. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health.
Charity Komminsk Hinkle and her husband Kevin announce the birth of their son Henry Evan, Sept. 7, 2002. They reside in Toledo, Ohio.
Rebecca O’Flaherty married Tracy Bullard, June 9, 2001. Rebecca is pursuing her Ph.D. at the University of California in entomology, with an emphasis in forensic entomology. She lives with her husband and two stepchildren in Woodland, Calif.
Keith Phipps married Stephanie Kuenn, Oct. 26, 2002. Keith is an editor for The Onion: America’s Finest News Source. The couple resides in Chicago, Ill.
Cedric Reynolds married Janae Lockett ’96, Sept. 21, 2002 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Lori Azzara Stiver and her husband Paul announce the birth of Jonathan Benett, Feb. 11, 2003. They reside in Germantown, Ohio.
Rachael L. Urbansky earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and is an associate at the Cleveland office of Baker & Hostetler LLP. She is currently an adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she teaches litigation practice.
Peter Waldron graduated from John Hopkins University in May 2003 with his M.S. in real estate institutional investment management. Peter lives in Towson, Md., with his wife Julie.
Molly Wilkinson Johnson received her Ph.D. in modern German and European history from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, in May 2003. She is now an assistant professor of history at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
