discovered fulfilling careers in an industry frequently described as a

When multi-talented musician Greg Slawson ’92 surveyed his yard outside his
newly purchased Cleveland Heights home a few years ago, he rejoiced in the
fact that it lacked a “Zone of Mystery,” a place where unknown plantings and
weeds converge to create a chaotic landscape.
