Seven students from the Kyushu Lutheran College Cross-Cultural Practicum participated
in the American College Experience at Wittenberg, Feb. 20 through March 28.
The group, which hailed from Kumamoto, Japan, lived on campus, attended English language classes taught by Karen Hayes, visiting instructor of English, and performed community service at Kenwood School and St. John’s Center.
During spring break, the seven also joined Wittenberg’s Habitat for Humanity in traveling to Arlington, Va. and Charleston, S.C.
