Provost
Ken Bladh, professor of geology, received the Richard R. Scott Award at this
year’s Greek Community Scholarship Awards presentation, March 21.
Originated in 1990 to honor the former dean of students, the award recognizes the faculty member or administrator who displays outstanding dedication, service and professionalism toward Wittenberg and its Greek system.
Bladh, the chief academic officer and second-ranking administrator after the
president responsible for the planning, organization, administration and evaluation of Wittenberg’s total educational program, had the chance to reunite with Scott, left in photo, following the awards presentation.
Scott returned to campus last semester to serve in his previous role during Vice President of Student Development and Dean of Students Debbie Heida’s sabbatical.
