and Scott Watters ’87 will be inducted into the Athletic Hall of Honor
during Homecoming Weekend, Oct. 22-24.
Baldridge was NCAA Division III Player of the Year in 1991. A three-time All-American and two-time NCAC Player of the Year, Baldridge ranks No. 2 on the university’s scoring list with 1,852 points and rebounding list with 1,030.
Bishop earned seven varsity letters in football, basketball and baseball. In football, Bishop was a three-year starter on both offense and defense, and he also set records for kickoff returns and return yardage in a season that stood for nearly 40 years.
Green was a three-time first-team All-NCAC honoree in both basketball and volleyball. She was a first-team All-American in basketball in 1994 and NCAC Volleyball Player of the Year in 1992 and 1993.
Johnson was a first-team All-American in 1992 and 1993, earning the NCAC’s Hank Critchfield Award as the league’s top defensive player both years. He was recognized as the NCAA Division III Defensive Player of the Year in 1993.
Lyons is the only player in Wittenberg golf history to place in the top 20 of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament all four years of his career. He also earned team MVP honors and all-conference honors each year.
Vedova was a two-time All-OAC choice in basketball. The Tigers posted a four-year record of 85-12 during Vedova’s career, and they won three OAC titles and Wittenberg’s first-ever national crown in 1961.
Warga, inducted posthumously, stands fourth on the Wittenberg career rushing list and first in single season rushing yardage. In his All-America 1990 season, Warga led the nation with school record totals of 1,836 yards and 7.2 yards per carry.
Watters holds Wittenberg football records for tackles in a season and a career.
He was All-OAC three times, and he also earned first-team All-America honors
and the Lee Tressel Award as the top player in Ohio in 1986.
