Clifford E. Pope, Cincinnati, Ohio, was recently inducted into the Purcell Marian High School Athletic Hall of Fame for coaching his wrestling team to the GCL north championship and being named League Wrestling Coach of the Year. Cliff, who has also been named chair of the education committee of the Cincinnati branch of the NAACP, still meets once a year with his college buddies and is grateful for the lifetime friendships made during his Wittenberg years.

John P. Fulton earned his Ph.D. in biosystems and agricultural engineering from the University of Kentucky in December 2003. A professor of biosystems and engineering at Auburn University in Alabama, he conducts research on agriculture technology and teaches a class on the subject. One product of his research is the invention of the soil regenerator.

Former U.S. Navy SEAL, Nicholas G. Jeremiah, described traveling overseas and living in a combat zone recently during a presentation at Wittenberg. Nick, who lives in Edgecomb, Maine, served in Afghanistan following Sept. 11.
