Wittenberg Excels in Seminary Scholars
Mark Huber ’04, of Pataskala, Ohio, was awarded one of 16 full-tuition scholarships, and Dana Hendershot, of Cedar Springs, Mich., received a partial-tuition scholarship to attend seminaries affiliated with the ELCA through the ELCA Fund for Leaders in Mission this year. Huber is studying for his master of divinity on a full scholarship at Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio, while Hendershot is studying for her master of divinity on a partial-tuition scholarship at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. Kevan Penvose ’00, a 2004 graduate of Trinity Lutheran Seminary, was one of the first eight recipients, according to University Pastor Rachel Tune.
