Ethicist Urges Commitment to Character in Address
Author of five critically acclaimed books, including China Boy, Honor and Duty and the forthcoming The Way Things Ought to Be: A Primer on Moral Courage, Lee challenged the hundreds of people present to find their inner dream and to take advantage of Wittenberg’s invitation to build not only their minds, but also their admirable moral courage. “Classes will test your mind, but life will test your very self,” he said. “Let no one violate integrity on your watch.” Legal counsel to the Connelly Investigation/U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee’s Worldwide ethics investigation, Lee has advised numerous corporations through values integration, transitions, change initiatives, and leadership changes and conflicts. He will return in the spring as the Wittenberg Series-sponsored writer-in-residence.
