After 32 years in admission and more than a year as a major gifts officer in the Office of University Advancement, Ken Benne will continue his service to his alma mater as the newly named director of The Wittenberg Fund.
As director, Benne will oversee numerous fund-raising efforts, including the university’s Senior Circle program, various programs for Wittenberg parents and a 10-year reunion giving program. In addition, Benne will be responsible for creating targeted direct-mail pieces, coordinating Benjamin Prince Society activities, managing the Phonathon and recruiting volunteers to assist with fund-raising initiatives.
Benne succeeds Lehan Peters ’03, who served as director from 2002-2005 and served the university for 15 years prior to taking a director position with the Clark County Department of Job and Family Services.
