Alumni from around the Northeast headed to Connecticut to enjoy a New Haven County Cutters game, July 9. Hosted by Cutters’ President and Wittenberg Board of Directors member David Boyle ’69, the day brought numerous alumni, friends and their families together. The following evening, an after-work gathering was held at the Penn Club in New York.
Wittenberg Tags Support Scholarships
As you renew your car registration and license plates for the upcoming year, please consider a Wittenberg University Alumni plate. The renewal or purchase of the Alumni license plates assists the university in raising funds for scholarships so that others may “pass on their light.”
Wittenberg plates may be issued at any deputy registrar's office, by mail or by phone. Call the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles at 1-888-PLATES3 (1-888-752-8373) and ask for a Request for Special Plates Form. Mail the form to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. You can also order them online at www.OPLATES.com. The additional fee of $35 is required for the collegiate license plate of which $25 is tax-deductible and is applied to the Wittenberg University general scholarship fund.
Graeter's Events Attract Record Crowds
Thanks to Chip ’86 and Debbie Fernandez Graeter ’86, more than 500 Ohio area alumni and their families turned out to enjoy Graeter’s famous French Pot Ice Cream in Columbus, July 18, and in Cincinnati, July 20. Those in attendance included Chip Graeter with his sons, left, along with President Mark Erickson and his wife Lin.
Washington Alumni Enjoy Day at Ballpark
Close to 20 members of the Seattle Alumni Chapter cheered on the Tacoma Rainiers during a day at the ballpark on June 25. The first event for the Seattle chapter, the group is already looking ahead to other events that will
