Acclaimed as "the best choreographer in the world " by the New York Daily News, Paul Taylor brought his work to Wittenberg a s his da nce company dazzled audience members, Feb. 6. The free Wittenberg Seriessponsored event was co-sponsored by the Wittenberg Guild.

Established in 1954, the company has performed to stellar reviews in more than 500 cities in all 50 states and 60 countries around the world. The New York Times described the Paul Taylor Dance Company as "one of the most exciting, innovative and delightful dance companies in the entire world."

The Vancouver Sun also raved, "There's no textbook for how to make dance. But there is, thank God, Paul Taylor, whose body of work is a blueprint that would not steer any fledgling dance maker wrong."
