As one of only a handful of liberal arts schools that requires community service, Wittenberg has consistently ensured that its graduates engage themselves on a local and global scale. Each year graduates head to all corners of the country with Teach for America and around the world in the Peace Corps. This fall, Washington Monthly magazine took notice of the university’s impressive record of service to humanity, ranking it 89th overall among liberal arts colleges and 14th in percentage of alumni who serve in the Peace Corps.
