Applying for financial aid can seem like a complicated process, but taking it one step at a time can keep it simple:
Step One:Â Apply to Wittenberg University. Â (We can only offer financial aid to students who apply and are accepted by Admissions.)
Step Two:  If you don't have a Federal PIN already, apply for one at the federal government’s PIN website. A PIN is used to electronically sign your FAFSA. (If you are a dependent student, one parent will also need a PIN to electronically sign their portion of the FAFSA.)
Step Three:  After Jan. 1, file the FAFSA online. When you complete the FAFSA, include our Federal School Code (003143), so the results will be sent to us.
Step Four:  After reviewing those results, we will determine the amount of grants and scholarships you are eligible to receive. We will send you an aid package that includes those grants and scholarships, plus information on loans, payment plans, and work-study.
Step Five:  Make your college choice and send in your enrollment deposit. Most schools require a deposit by May 1.
If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Financial Aid Office. We will be happy to assist you.
