Support – The School of Community Education aims to make your Wittenberg experience a pleasant one. We’ll help you with all administrative matters in a friendly, smooth and simple way. Here’s what you can expect from us:

  • Clear and quick evaluation of your transfer credits and other transactions
  • Continuous professional advisement by our professional staff
  • One-stop procedures: admission and basic registration procedures take place through SCE, typically requiring only a few minutes. (Adult students in Day majors also see their faculty advisers.)
  • Convenience of online registration, once you have registered for your initial term. If you would happen to miss that process, you may register in person, or by mail, FAX, or e-mail.

  • Computer Skills – If you are still sharpening your computer skills, you’ll be glad to know that Wittenberg offers several ways for you to improve. Simply engaging in the @witt@home process – the “blended learning” mode that combines classroom and online instruction – will give you a good start.

Wittenberg’s Computer Center is a source of help in learning how to set up and use a computer. Our largest student lab hosts 75 PCs and supporting equipment 24/7, and you'll find other labs throughout the campus. Computing for the Liberal Arts and Sciences (COMP 121Q) is a course that takes you through applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database development and introduces you to basic programming.

Oral Communication Skills – You can sharpen your public speaking skills at the Oral Communication Center, where faculty-approved students will serve as your tutors.

Writing Skills- The Writing Center features faculty-approved writing advisers who can help you master the written word.

Math Skills –The Math Workshop provides tutors who can help you with math and math-related courses.
