After surveying more than 122,000 college students, The Princeton Review generates 62 national rankings lists, both positive and negative. Wittenberg made two appearances on the positive side of the ledger, including 11th in the nation under "Best Classroom Experience" 15th in the category "Professors Get High Marks."
"We are pleased to be recognized as one of the nation's finest undergraduate institutions," said Wittenberg President Mark H. Erickson. "The Princeton Review provides one of the few national rankings based on student input, and the results speak for themselves. We have a faculty and a classroom experience that I believe is as strong as any in the nation, and this review validates that claim. Simply put, we are a place that transforms lives."
The annual release of The Best 371 Colleges is based on continuous monitoring and annual collection of data on more than 2,000 schools across the United States. Princeton Review representatives visit schools and meet with or talk to hundreds of college administrators in an effort to present a comprehensive overview of every facet of student life on college campuses.
A nationally ranked college for the liberal arts and sciences affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Wittenberg University challenges students to become responsible global citizens, to discover their callings, and to lead personal, professional, and civic lives of creativity, service, compassion and integrity.
