Against a backdrop of blue sky with a gentle autumn breeze, Wittenberg’s annual homecoming festivities kicked off, Oct. 21-23, bringing with them hundreds of alumni across all generations.
In addition to reunions for the classes of 1961, 1971, 1981, 1986 and special gatherings for the 5-10-15-year alumni, Wittenberg also recognized several alumni with special awards during the annual Alumni Awards Brunch, Oct. 22. Click on each photo to watch each award-winner speak.

Also recognized were four former student-athletes, Keith Ayers '60, Steve Hanneman '70, Julien Lazarus '99 and Danielle Rogers Good '93, along with Coach Dick Fahrney, who were inducted into the university’s Athletics Hall of Honor. Beloved coach, administrator and professor, the late Dave Maurer, was also remembered during the official coin toss of the Wittenberg football game against Carnegie-Mellon, which the Tigers won 27-23.
