Chamber Orchestra Concert To Be Held At Wittenberg

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio---The Wittenberg University Chamber Orchestra will present a concert at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14 in Weaver Chapel on campus.

Conductor Tom Kennedy, associate professor of music, has chosen two works for the concert "Three Pieces in Old Style" by Polish composer Henryk Mikolaj Gorecki and "Symphony No. 3 in E-flat" (Eroica) by Ludwig van Beethoven.

The performance is open to the public with no admission charge.

The University Chamber Orchestra and Symphonic Band invite instrumentalists from Springfield and the surrounding communities to join them in preparation for future concerts. For further information, call the department of music at 327-7340.
