WITTENBERG UNIVERSITY ORGANIZATION SPONSORS MOTIVATIONAL LECTURE GEARED TO YOUNG WOMEN OF COLOR

Springfield, Ohio - Concluding an active and thought-provoking Black History Month, an organization called The Bridge: Women of Color Collective will host an event titled "Celebrating Women of Color" from 4-5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28. The keynote speaker of the second annual event, which will take place in the Alumni & Visitors Center, is Dr. Kettlie Joseph Daniels.

Daniels is the author of "So I Have Knocked KneesŠYet, Destined for More." Daniels is a graduate of the Medical College of Ohio and is a board-certified psychiatrist. She is in private practice in Toledo, Ohio. Daniels presents lectures throughout the country, which address issues of the workplace, home and family. On Wednesday, she will present a motivational lecture geared toward young women of color.
