"Beginning Piano for Kids," offers an opportunity for lessons in a small group setting for grades one to three. Students will learn to read music and musical notation, find keyboard landmarks and play rhythms. Classes will meet for eight weeks from 5:15 - 6 p.m. on Thursdays.
"Beginning Piano for Adults" will meet from 6:30 - 7:15 p.m. on Mondays. High school students and adults will learn keyboard landmarks, musical terminology and music reading and notation in a small group setting.
Voice class for high school students and adults will be offered from 5:30 - 6:15 p.m. on Tuesdays. The class is limited to six students for personal attention.
In addition, the winter term offers "Discovering Music" for children ages 3-5, a class designed to explore the world of music. Parents are invited to participate in class sessions from 5:30 - 6:15 on Tuesdays.
A group "Music Appreciation" class is available for children in grades one to six as a supplement to private music lessons. In this group setting children can explore theory and the lives of musicians as well as share their music with each other. Classes meet from 7 - 7:45 p.m. on Thursdays.
Private lessons will also be available in piano, organ, guitar, violin, woodwinds, brass and percussion for all ages and musical backgrounds.
