Best-selling author and political analyst Ann Coulter will be speaking on Wednesday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m. on the Wittenberg University campus in the Shouvlin Center, room 105. Coulter will address the state of the war against terrorism, national security threats and the state of patriotism on college campuses.
Coulter is the best-selling author of "High Crimes and Misdemeanors - The Case Against Bill Clinton." Her next book,"Loathing on the Left," is scheduled for release in April 2002. She has been seen on ABC's This Week, ABC's Good Morning America, NBC's Today Show, Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, CNN's Larry King Live, Fox News' Hannity and Colmes, and various other TV shows as a legal and political analyst. George magazine listed Coulter as "One of the 20 Most Fascinating Women in Politics in 1997," and she has been profiled in People Magazine, TV Guide, Harper's Bazaar, National Journal and Capital Style, among other publications.
An attorney, Coulter was formerly with the Center for Individual Rights (CIR), which she joined after leaving the Senate Judiciary Committee staff where she worked for Senator Spencer Abraham (R - MI). CIR is a non-profit, public interest law firm dedicated to the defense of individual rights with particular emphasis on civil rights, freedom of speech, the free exercise of religion and sexual harassment law.
