Springfield, Ohio - Music at Wittenberg will present a concert by the Wittenberg Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Tom Kennedy, at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 27 in Krieg Hall on campus.
Concert in the Park (ing lot) will be presented by the Wittenberg Symphonic Band at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 30. The concert will be held in the parking lot behind Krieg Hall at the corner of Ward St. and Fountain Ave. It will feature Associate Professor of Music Joyce Wendel, soprano, and a faculty Dixieland band. Kennedy will lead the band in some familiar music, including Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture." Listeners are asked to bring their own lawn chairs. In case of inclement weather, call 327-7358 after 5 p.m. for weather cancellation announcement. The rain date will be Tuesday, May 7.
