Commencement Speaker Book Signing Saturday

Springfield, Ohio - Preparations are being made for the 157th Commencement ceremonies for the class of 2002 at Wittenberg University Saturday, May 18. As part of the festivities Commencement speaker, Bill Press, will sign copies of his latest book "Spin This!" just following the ceremony in the Wittenberg campus bookstore from approximately 4:30 -5:3 0 p.m. The campus bookstore is inside the Benham-Pence Student Center located at the corner of Woodlawn Ave. and Ward St. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the store.

Bill Press, co-host of "Crossfire," CNN's dynamic political debate program for the past six years and columnist and radio broadcaster has written numerous books. "Crossfire" is known for lively debates about the issues that impact our lives.

Before joining "Crossfire," Press enjoyed a high-profile career in government, politics and broadcasting that had spanned more than two decades, garnering him numerous awards including four Emmys, a Golden Mic Award and the prestigious Commentator of the Year by the Associated Press in 1992.
