Two Great Concerts To Be Held at Wittenberg University This Weekend

Springfield, Ohio - Music at Wittenberg will present two free concerts this weekend in Weaver Chapel on campus.

At 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, the Wittenberg Symphonic Band, under the direction of Tom Kennedy, will perform music from Bizet's "Carmen," Rodgers and Hammerstein's "The Sound of Music" and "The First & the Last" by Stephen Melillo. The concert will feature Jay Koupal, percussion assistant.

The Wittenberg Chamber Orchestra, also directed by Kennedy, and the University of Dayton Orchestra, Phillip Magnuson, conductor, will perform a joint concert at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 10. The program will include music from Gabrieli to Gustav Holst.
