Senior History Majors to Host Conference

Dec. 3, 2002

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, in Hollenbeck Hall's Ness Auditorium, the history department will host its senior capstone conference. The conference is organized and run by senior history majors at the conclusion of each semester as part of their required 411 history course.

There will be 19 students presenting papers throughout the day on a range of topics, including Pre-Modern Women, New Interpretations of World War II and the Cold War, Race and Racism in American History and May-Fourth Literature. Other subjects areas will also be covered.
