Music at Wittenberg Will Present Two Concerts

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Wittenberg Singers will present their fall concert at 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 17 in Weaver Chapel on campus.

Under the direction of Carol Todd, the 46-member female vocal group will perform a variety of music, including Mendelssohn, Bach, Praetorius and Puccini, as well as seasonal numbers and a traditional spiritual. Vocal and instrumental soloists will also be featured in the program.

The Wittenberg Flute Choir and Chamber Ensemble will present a joint concert at 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 18 in Krieg Hall, located at the corner of Ward St. and Woodlawn Ave. Under the direction of Lori Akins and Richard York, the program will feature music by Bach, Handel, Bizet and Beethoven.
