SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — The Union Board at Wittenberg University plans WittFest
Saturday, May 3. Beginning at 11 a.m. on Stoughton Lawn, located next to the
Benham-Pence Student Center on Woodlawn Ave. in the heart of Wittenberg’s
campus, bands and entertainment take the stage one by one for a day of free
outdoor fun.
Wittfest is an end of school year tradition offering entertainment, food and fun for the Wittenberg community and also the surrounding communities. There will be inflatable games for children. Wittenberg acts will feature performances by a cappella groups Wittmen Crew and Just Eve, The Dance Company and campus bands throughout the afternoon. A caricature artist and a Witt Idol contest will provide additional entertainment. The evening will feature Columbus band Red Wanting Blue, and the headline act will be Pittsburgh rock and roll band The Clarks.
