Wittenberg University Will Offer Two Musical Events

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Music at Wittenberg will offer two concerts on Saturday, April 12 which are free and open to the public.

At 4 p.m. in Weaver Chapel, the Wittenberg Handbell Choir, directed by Trudy Faber, professor of music and department chair, and the Wittenberg Singers, directed by Carol Todd, adjunct instructor of music, will present their sping concert. The program will feature a variety of music from Beethoven to American spirituals.

Kevin Orr, piano, will present a guest artist recital at 8 p.m. in Krieg Hall. On the faculty at University of Florida, Gainesville, Orr will play works by Beethoven, Brahms, Prokofiev and the Ohio premiere of "Greenyoch Ballant" by Jennifer M. Barker.
