University to Present Play Written by Guest Philosopher and Lecturer

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Stephen Vicchio, a playwright and philosophy professor from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in Baltimore, will present a philosophy colloquium at 4:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, in Room 311, Hollenbeck Hall, at Wittenberg University. His topic will be "Narrative, Truth, and Believability?"

In addition, Vicchio will attend performances of his play, "Ivan and Adolf: The Last Man in Hell," which is being directed by Wittenberg senior Matt Woods-Koppitch. The play will be presented at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26 and Saturday, Sept. 27, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Sept. 28. in Blair Hall Theatre on campus. Vicchio will hold discussion sessions following the one- hour performances on Friday and Saturday.

Both events are free and open to the public. Tickets for the play will be available one hour hour in advance at the Blair Hall box office.
