This innovative approach to the decline in budgets within the school system allows teachers to apply for mini-grants up to $500 for projects that document student social and academic gains. Professor is Featured Organist at the Dayton Art Institute
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - The Dayton Art Institute has been meticulously refurbishing a 1931 Skinner pipe organ to add 21st century improvements while faithfully maintaining the historical sound of the original instrument. University Volunteers Fund and Build Home for Local Family

On Saturday, Aug. 30, they began pooling their resources to build the Perdue family of Springfield a home at 1107 Perrin Ave. The Wittenberg Chapter of Habitat for Humanity is working in tandem with the Clark County Community Habitat for Humanity, but the home will be completely funded and constructed by Wittenberg volunteers. Wittenberg Honors Professor With Prestigious Omicron Delta Kappa Award
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Assistant Professor of Education Lowell Monke has been a member of the faculty at Wittenberg University for slightly more than two years, but in that short time his peers and students have noticed a style of teaching worthy of the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) Award for outstanding teaching. This award honors those professors who have been on the faculty for five years or less. Wittenberg Presents "A Midsummer Night’s Dream" Directed by Famed British Artist
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Shakespeare's words, a renowned director from Great Britain, original music by an award-winning composer, set designs by a hall-of-fame designer, costumes that will make audience's eyes dance - all this makes for thrilling theatre. This and more will take center stage in Wittenberg University's production of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" opening at 8 p.m. this Thursday, April 10, in Chakeres Memorial Theatre on campus. SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — William Martin, a member of the Wittenberg University class of 1962 and the university’s board of directors, has been named acting president of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC), effective immediately.
