Dear members of Wittenberg University Choirs
All members of Uji Church thank you very much for your wonderful concert on Sunday, May 23. We very much appreciate that you came to our small church in spite of your tight schedule in Korea and Japan.
For all of us your concert was an unforgettable experience. After the concert many of our members and guests came to me to tell me how much they were moved by your presentation. We all felt how much music can cross barriers of language and culture and unite people in one spirit.
We were quite surprised to have had an audience of more than 170 people, most of them not being members of our church. Your concert certainly was a service to a wider community beyond our small membership and an important part of the Christian mission in Japan.
May God bless the future work of your university, your choir and your students.
