Wittenberg’s Weaver Chapel Association Plans Annual
Dance Party Benefit For Springfield City Schools

Feb. 17, 2005

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — Famous melodies that inspire people to dance the night away will ring out across the Wittenberg University campus as the Weaver Chapel Association (WCA) hosts its third annual dance party at 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, in Ness Family Auditorium in Hollenbeck Hall. Proceeds from the event, which is scheduled to run until 1 a.m., will go to the Springfield City Schools’ art and music programs.

Tickets are available before the event at the Benham-Pence Student Center for $3 each, or two for $5, and at the door on the night of the event. The event is open to the public, and guests are free to come and go throughout the evening.

Helen Martin, adjunct instructor of health, fitness and sports, will teach dances from 9:30-10:30 p.m. Food will be served, prizes will be awarded, and individuals will be encouraged to make use of a karaoke machine as they learn new steps and improve their style on the dance floor.

Those who cannot make the date but would like to support the art and music programs for students in the Springfield City School District can send donations directly to WCA. Call (937) 327-7411 for more information.
