Wittenberg Professor of Music Daniel Kazez Featured in Faculty Artist Concert Nov. 6

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — Music at Wittenberg will present a Faculty Artist Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, in Room 300, Krieg Hall at the corner of Ward Street and Woodlawn Avenue. The program is free and open to the public.

Professor of Music Daniel Kazez, violoncello, will be featured with an ensemble that includes Adjunct Instructor of Music Richard York, clarinet; Adjunct Instructor of Music Diane Slagle, piano; Halle McGuire of Bexley, Ohio, class of 2007, soprano; Phillip Magnuson, viola; and Brittany Steinbrecher of Delaware, Ohio, class of 2009, bass.

The ensemble will perform music by Ludwig van Beethoven, Jean Sibelius, J.S. Bach, Julius Chajes, Carl Phillip Stamitz and Johann Georg Albrechtsbereger.
