Wittenberg Professor Discusses U.S.-China Relations As Part Of Clark County Public Library Global Education Series

As part of the 2007-08 Global Education Speakers Series, Wittenberg Professor of Political Science and Director of East Asian Studies Bin Yu presented a lecture on the United States-China relations on Feb. 14 at the Clark County Public Library, titled titled "The United States and China Into The 21st Century: Beyond Love and Hate."

A native of China, Yu received his masters from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and his doctorate from Stanford University, where his focus was Russian-China relations. A professor at Wittenberg since 1991, Yu has authored or co-authored six books. He has published more than 60 scholarly and policy articles in journals, including Strategic Review, Harvard International Review and World Politics.
