Presents Annual Fall Dance Concert

Springfield, Ohio — The Wittenberg University Department of Theatre and Dance presents its annual Fall Dance Concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 5-7, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, in Chakeres Memorial Theatre, 909 Woodlawn Ave. Directed by Associate Professor of Theatre and Dance Shih-Ming Li Chang, the concert includes dances in modern, tap, waltz and ballroom, and a Chinese fan dance.

The 11 dance pieces scheduled to be performed are mostly original works choreographed by students, Kristina Isabelle, artistic director of Kristina Isabelle Dance Company in Columbus, and Chang. Student choreographers for the concert include:
Lisa Kroupa, class of 2010 from Cridersville, Ohio;
Sarah Larson, class of 2010 from St. Louis, Mo.;
Lindgren Carson, class of 2011 from Poland, Ohio;
Maggie Muir, class of 2011 from Canton, Ohio;
Tina Pennock, class of 2011 from Centerville, Ohio;
Lauren Hura, class of 2012 from Upper Arlington, Ohio;
Emily Kula, class of 2012 from Medina, Ohio;
Courtney Resetar, class of 2012 from Pittsburgh, Pa.;
Anna VonderEmbse, class of 2012 from Ottawa, Ohio;
Benjamin Turner, School of Community Education.
All 10 of the student choreographers are also performing in the concert. The other student performers include:

Ashley Zkiab, class of 2012 from Rocky River, Ohio;
Jacquie Alexander, class of 2013 from Eastampton, N.J.;
Erica Copen, class of 2013 from Catawba, Ohio;
Sarah Fickling, class of 2013 from Havertown, Pa.;
Kaitlin Stivers, class of 2013 from Lexington, Ky.;
