Soloists for the performance include Assistant Professor of Music Jessica McCormack, soprano, Carla Drye, alto, Jason Heister, tenor, and Professor of Music and Chair of the Department David Schubert, baritone. Professor of Music Trudy Faber will accompany on the organ and harpsichord. Adjunct Instructor of Music Basil Fett will conduct.
Instrumental section leaders and soloists include Adjunct Instructor of Music Lesa DeBorde and Chris Walters, both playing the violin, Patricia King playing the viola and Rebecca Parker Downs playing the violoncello. All are members of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra.
Established choirs of Wittenberg and the surrounding Springfield area public are urged to attend the event and enjoy this unique singing experience. Singers are asked to bring their own scores, although some will also be available at the door. Admission is free.
