Miller's visit will culminate with a performance at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, in Chakeres Memorial Theatre. He will perform a one-man show with monologues from his acting career, including Hamlet, columbinus, My Name is Asher Lev and his current role as Prior Walter in Angels in America Parts I & II. The performance is free and open to the public.
Miller graduated from Wittenberg with majors in both theatre and psychology and immediately began his professional acting career. In 2006, he was nominated for a Helen Hayes Outstanding Lead Actor Award, Resident Play, for his portrayal of Eric Harris in columbinus. Helen Hayes Awards are given annually to the top professional theatre productions in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area.

"Since college, in the intervening eight years, I've devoted my creative energy to acting, blog essays and film editing," Miller said. "Each of those crafts lets the craft-maker repeat and behold his work again and again, making changes directly to the art-piece. I can play with different voices for my character, I can polish a sentence in an old essay, I can re-edit an effect or cut what doesn't work."
