News Release: Tigers Picked To Finish Fourth In NCAC Preseason Poll
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Wooster has once again emerged as the preseason favorite in balloting by North Coast Athletic Conference baseball coaches in their annual preseason poll. The Fighting Scots, runners-up in last year's NCAC race after posting a perfect 15-0 regular-season mark, were chosen to re-claim the conference title in 2008 with 99 points and nine of 10 first-place votes. Ohio Wesleyan, the defending NCAC champion, totalled 90 points and picked up the remaining first-place vote to finish second in the balloting.
