Wooster scored four times in the first 21 minutes of the game, with Anlyn Addis gaining credit for each tally. The Scots, who outshot Wittenberg 16-6 and converted three of their nine penalty corner opportunities into goals, added an insurance score in the second half.
Wittenberg was led offensively by junior Caroline Mason (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) with three shots. Defensively, freshman goalkeeper Sarah Umberger (Concord, NH/Derryfield School) had six saves and the Tigers were credited with a whopping four defensive saves, including two by freshman defender Tori Vogelgesang (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mount Notre Dame).
