Chad Summe
MEADVILLE, Pa. - In the second conference tournament of the year, the Tiger men's golf team came to play on Day 2, moving up two spots to place fourth out of nine teams.

Junior Chad Summe (Cincinnati, Ohio/LaSalle) beat his own personal best of the season by two strokes, scoring a 154 on his way to third place on the team and a tie for 19th place overall. Sophomore Andrew Flint (Cincinnati, Ohio/Sycamore) posted his second-best score of the season with a 150, taking first place on the team and tying for 12th place overall.

Garrett Smith (Powell, Ohio/Worthington Christian) turned in a strong performance as well, hitting 154 in two rounds on his way to 16th place overall, good for second place on the team. Overall, the team finished fourth, just nine strokes behind perennial conference power Allegheny's second squad.

The team has just one tournament left this fall, on Oct. 6-7, at the Granville Golf Club in Granville, Ohio, hosted by Denison University.
