- No donuts, rings, flares, wind resisters, etc. may be added to a bat during warm-ups.
- Shoes are required. All games will be on the turf, so turf shoes or tennis shoes are recommended. No molded head cleats or screw ins will be allowed.
- The Intramural Department will supply one ball, two bats, and bases for each game. Missing equipment will be billed to the captains of the two participating teams.

- No runner may leave his/her base until the ball is hit.
- If a base is dislodged from its locations by more than 3 feet, any following runners should proceed to the spot where the base should be.
- For all games played on the turf, each team will be allowed four home runs to the right field; after the fourth, all subsequent balls hit to the right field will be considered ground rule doubles. Cones will mark the remaining field boundries and an official will be stationed in the outfield to make calls on home runs vs. ground rule doubles. A home run to center and left will be any ball hit beyond the cone markers. Any ball which hits and lands in fair territory but then rolls foul past the cones will be a ground rule double.
