The Tigers improved to 16-2 overall and 8-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference. The next contest for the Tigers will be against Denison at 3 p.m. Saturday, a re-match of a heartbreaking 89-79 Tigers' loss in Granville in double overtime on Dec. 11.
Wittenberg never trailed in the game, but Earlham was within striking distance until midway through the second half. A 10-0 Wittenberg run, highlighted by a thunderous Daniel Russ putback dunk at the 7:41 mark brought the home crowd to its feet, and it helped the Tigers increase their lead from 15 to 25 points. Earlham was no match for Wittenberg the rest of the way.
