Travis Schwab begins his second year as the full-time assistant in the Tiger program. Schwab's previous coaching experience includes two years as a graduate assistant at Heidelberg College and a year as an assistant coach at Kenyon College under current head coach and Wittenberg Athletics Hall of Honor member Matt Croci.
Schwab, a 2004 Ohio Wesleyan University graduate, became the only player in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) history to be selected first-team all-conference four consecutive years during his career in the Bishops program. Following his senior season, Schwab was named to the prestigious National Association of Basketball Coaches All-America Team.
Schwab's 1,985 career points rank second on the OWU career scoring list and third on the NCAC's list. He also holds the NCAC Tournament record for points in a game with 40 against Wooster in the 2004 semifinals at Wittenberg's HPER Center.
Schwab replaced Artie Taylor, who after five years as a Tiger assistant became the head basketball coach at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus.
Assistant Coach Al CridgeAl Cridge joined the Tiger men's basketball program as a volunteer assistant coach in 2001.
Cridge, who teaches in the Mad River Montgomery school district, has extensive head high school coaching experience. His coaching credentials include stints as the head boys' coach at both Dayton Carroll and Oakwood High Schools.
Cridge and his wife, Patti, are the parents of six children and reside in Kettering. Two daughters, Casey and Kelley, are recent Wittenberg graduates who are now working as teachers in the Dayton area.
Assistant Coach Randy LincicomeRandy Lincicome joined the Tiger men's basketball coaching staff in 2001 as a volunteer assistant.
Lincicome, a 1975 graduate of Ohio University, is a 30-year coaching veteran who has been a head coach at both the high school and college levels at Mechanicsburg and Ohio State University-Newark respectively. He teaches at Mechanicsburg High School and lives in Grove City with his wife, Joyce.
Student Assistant Drew DeniscoDrew Denisco is beginning his fourth year as a student assistant coach in the Tiger program.
Denisco, who played on the junior varsity team his freshman year at Wittenberg, is a high school graduate of The Wellington School in Columbus, Ohio.
Student Assistant Jimmy CollotonJimmy Colloton, class of 2011, is in his second year as a student assistant coach with the Tiger men's basketball program, and he also serves as a color commentator for broadcasts of men's soccer games.
Colloton hopes to be a basketball coach in the future. He graduated from Rolling Meadows High School in the suburbs of Chicago in 2007 and is an economics major.
